Indira Mahila Shakti Bhavan, built at a cost of Rs. 5 crore in Nagarkurnool town center, was inaugurated by Panchayat Raj & Rural Development Minister Smt. Danasari Anasuya (Sitakka) on Thursday. Nagarkurnool MLA Dr. Kuchukulla Rajesh Reddy, elders, dignitaries, MLC Sri Kuchukulla Damodar Reddy, Nagarkurnool District DCC President MLA Dr. Vamsi Krishna participated in the program. Speaking on the occasion, MLA Dr. Kuchukulla Rajesh Reddy said that the main goal of the Congress Praja Government is the economic empowerment of women. He said that the government is taking special steps to further strengthen women’s self-help groups and provide them with training and employment opportunities. He said that Indira Mahila Shakti Bhavan, built at a cost of Rs. 5 crore, will serve as a platform for women and serve as a center for self-employment, skill development and various training programs. He said that this building will help women to become financially empowered and reach a higher position in society. The Congress government is implementing many welfare programs for the development of women’s groups and their economic self-reliance, and MLA Dr. Kuchukulla Rajesh Reddy said that women’s power is the cornerstone of the state’s progress. Market Committee Chairman Ramana Rao, Municipal Chairman Teegala Sunendra, Vice Chairman Badam Ramesh, Town President Jakka Raju, local councilors, public representatives, officials, members of women’s groups, Congress leaders, activists and a large number of women participated in this program.
