Deputy Transport Commissioner Alluru Chandrasekhar Reddy’s dedication to duty until retirement is exemplary for today’s young employees, said Additional Commissioner of the State Transport Department L.S.Y. Ramadevi. Senior Transport Department officer Alluru Chandrasekhar Reddy from Chennur in Nellore district retired on Wednesday. At a program held under the auspices of Transport Department Non-Technical Association General Secretary V.Umamaheswari and chaired by Joint Transport Commissioner Mohan, she said in the felicitation meeting that it is special that she joined the Transport Department three decades ago as A.M.V.I. and successfully retired as Deputy Transport Commissioner. Some people who are close to retirement do not show interest in their duties in their last days, but unlike this, Chandrasekhar Reddy did not use the leaves he had and provided honest services. Ramasri praised him. In the meeting, Sivarama Prasad, DTC (Admin) Meera Prasad, senior officials of the Transport Department Purendra, Krishna Rao, Praveen, retired officials Venkateswara Rao, Adinarayana, Nyaya Murthy Padma Reddy, former Municipal Commissioner Shivanarayana Reddy, Chandrasekhar Reddy’s childhood friends Satyanarayana, Prabhu Prasad, Prasa Mani, journalist Jayapratap Reddy and others explained the greatness of Chandrasekhar Reddy. They praised him for doing justice to his profession, contributing to the welfare of his family and taking care of his elderly parents like the blink of an eye. Responding to this, Chandrasekhar Reddy said that the encouragement given by his parents in his growth, Smt. Ujwala in his life’s success, and the blessings of God were the key. He expressed his gratitude for the support given by his colleagues and superiors in his profession, which enabled him to retire successfully without any blemish. Transport Department staff and relatives and friends who came from various places felicitated Chandrasekhar Reddy, and many expressed their joy that a retirement ceremony in the presence of his parents had never been held before. The program, which was supposed to end in half an hour, was held under the leadership of Umamaheswari for about two and a half hours amidst the emotions of his relatives. Later, in a ceremony organized by the Transport Department Zone 3 staff, senior officials Mohan, Meera Prasad, T.C. Chander Seetarami Reddy and others felicitated him.
