Sri Kalahasti, June 27, (Punnami News): A huge rally was held in Sri Kalahasti town on Saturday to commemorate the coronation of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and the Hindu Empire Day. The rally began after garlanding the statue of Shivaji Maharaj at the local Shivaji Junction and paying homage. Speaking on the occasion, the speakers said that the valor and courage shown by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in defending the country and protecting Hindu Dharma are an ideal for today’s youth. They called on everyone to take Shivaji’s ideals as inspiration and move forward with patriotism and social responsibility. The streets of the town were filled with slogans of Jai Shivaji.. Jai Bhavani, and students, youth, Bharatiya Janata Party leaders, representatives of Hindu organizations and fans participated in the program in large numbers and made it a success.
