After the incident, steps were taken to get the NTR Bharosa pension converted into the names of two women who lost their husbands in the village. The process of converting the pension in the names of the deceased Karri Chinnodu’s wife, Mrs. Karri Appalanarasa, and the deceased Konagantla Satyalingam’s wife, Mrs. Konagantla Bamaramba, was completed quickly and the benefits of government welfare were distributed to them.
