Coalition leaders say the coalition government has not done injustice to the Kapus.. anger over Thota Ramakrishna’s comments

Tallapudi, Punnami Representative, June 26: The coalition leaders strongly condemned the comments made by YSRCP leader Thota Ramakrishna that the coalition government was doing injustice to the Kapus in Tallapudi mandal. Speaking at a press conference organized to this effect, several coalition leaders refuted the allegations of the YSRCP leaders. Tallapudi Mandal TDP President Sidda Durga Prasad said that the government had issued a GO providing 5 percent reservation to include Kapus in the BC list as promised in the TDP manifesto during the 2014 elections, but it could not be implemented due to the delay of the central government. He criticized the YSRCP government for stopping the foreign education scheme introduced by the TDP government for Kapus as soon as it came to power. He questioned whether Thota Ramakrishna remembered the incident when YSRCP leaders Perni Nani and Ambati Rambabu criticized Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, who belongs to the Kapu community. Now, some unemployed politicians are playing politics by showing hypocritical love for Kapus, they said. Chagallu Janasena Mandal President Uppuluru Chiranjeevi said that those in YSRCP are not Kapus, but there are Kapus leaders in all parties. He said that the small dispute over alliance leader Gangumalla Swamy is being exaggerated and given a political color, and that the issue was resolved by talking to each other. He reminded that the same Thota Ramakrishna was insulted by his own YSRCP leaders in the past at a meeting. Kapavaram Society President Sunkara Satthibabu said that it is strange that those who did not respond when YSRCP leaders made inappropriate comments about Pawan Kalyan and his family are now showing love for Kapus. He said that the alliance government has given respect to leaders from the Kapu community like Ramanaidu and Durgesh by allocating key positions and high departments. Former Sarpanch of Maddur said that Thota Ramakrishna would have been better off calling himself the leader of “YCP Kapu JAC” rather than calling himself the leader of Kapu JAC. He said that there is no room for anarchy in the coalition government and all the Kapu leaders in the coalition are moving forward with unity. Coalition leaders and activists participated in this press conference.
