At the felicitation ceremony of the newly elected MLCs, Chief Minister Samrat Chowdhury, Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai and other leaders mentioned the initiatives taken by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi government for the upliftment of the EBCs. They said that special priority is being given to these communities in the fields of education, welfare and social development.
