With the divine intention of bringing the Lord of Tirupati to the devotees and spreading the light of Sanatana Dharma to every village, the Vadavadala Varahi Prachara Rath Yatra under the auspices of the Rayalacheruvu Sri Shakti Peetham began on Friday morning. With the blessings of the Head of the Courtalam Peetham, Sri Sri Sri Siddeshwarananda Bharathi Mahaswamy, Sri Shakti Peethadhiswari Sri Sri Sri Ramyananda Bharathi Mahaswamy inaugurated the event. The main objective of this Yatra is to bring the devotees closer to the Divine Mother, awaken their spiritual consciousness and spread the Dharma. The chariot, led by Administrative Officer Srikanth Acharya and Manager Prasad, reached Chandragiri Sri Moolasthanam Yellamma Temple via Tummalagunta, Vidyanagar and Perur today, while the priests participated in the pujas of Sri Varahi Devi under the leadership of Chairman Sri Panchala Chandrasekhar Reddy. Later, Chandragiri MLA Sri Pulivarthi Nani and Tuda Chairman Dr. Diwakar Reddy met and handed over the pilgrimage prasadams and invitation letters. Speaking on the occasion, they said that they prayed that with the blessings of the glorious Sri Varahi Ammavari, timely rains would fall in the state, abundant dairy crops would be produced, and all the people would live in good health and happiness. A campaign was held at Sri Tallapaka Pedagangamma Temple, while Sri Tatayyagunta Gangamma Devasthanam EO Sri Jaya Kumar participated in the puja of the Ammavari. The final destination of this Dharma Prachara Yatra — the once-a-year Pavitra Sri Varahi Navratri Mahotsavam will be celebrated grandly at Sri Shakti Peetham from Ashadha Shuddha Padyami to Navami (July 15–25). The organizers have requested all devotees to participate and seek the blessings of the Goddess.
