The meeting of the Andhra Pradesh State Office Bearers of the Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Psychic Maha Sangh was held today at the School of Planning and Architecture in Vijayawada. The chief guest of this meeting was Shri Guntha Lakshman G, National Co-Organising Secretary of ABRSM, while the State President, Professor YV Ramireddy, presided over the meeting. ABRSM State General Secretary, Professor DSVS Balasubramaniam, State President of Degree Colleges Teachers Association, Dr. Hari Ram Prasad, and General Secretary, Dr. Gutta Rajasekhar participated as guests. In this meeting, the problems of the teachers working in Intermediate, Degree, Engineering, Polytechnic and Universities in the state of Andhra Pradesh were discussed and petitions were sent to the State Education Minister, Shri Nara Lokesh, and other higher education officials for their resolution. In this petition, it is requested that the GO related to transfers for teachers working in government degree colleges in the state be released immediately, that the appointments of teachers be taken up as soon as possible as per the notification issued for filling up the vacant posts of teachers in the universities of the state, that admissions of degree, engineering, PG and PhD students be taken up immediately in this academic year, that the working hours in government intermediate colleges in the state be reduced from 9.30 to 4, that junior college teachers be promoted as degree college teachers, that career advanced scheme promotions in universities be carried out in a timely manner, that the fee reimbursement arrears due to students studying in the state be released immediately, that a PRC committee be appointed immediately, that the four pending DAs be released immediately, that steps be taken to ensure that the Employee Health Scheme is implemented properly, that 3500 vacant posts of teachers in intermediate colleges be filled. It was mentioned that the vacancies should be filled. ABRSM state leaders Dr. Padmavati, Dr. Anitha, Professor Ramachandran, Professor Varadarajan, Sarathchandra, Dr. M. V. Narasaiah, Dr. Kishore Kumar etc. participated in this meeting.
