The annual Brahmotsavam was celebrated with great pomp and show at the Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Appalayagunta, Vadamalapet Mandal on Wednesday evening. The program, which lasted from 6.30 pm to 8 pm, began with a Medini Puja and then a Senadhipathi Utsavam. According to tradition, devotees believe that Sri Vishwaksena will visit the four Madaveedhu to inspect the arrangements for the Brahmotsavam and ensure that all the programs run smoothly.
