The service of Janata Trust for the poor has been proven once again. A huge free eye medical camp organized by Janata Trust for the people of Chennaraopet mandal in collaboration with Shankara Eye Foundation India and Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Medical Trust was a success. 600 people underwent eye tests in this camp, and 54 people were found to need operations as per the doctors’ recommendation. They were immediately taken to a hospital in Hyderabad in a special vehicle and successfully underwent eye operations using the latest technology. The 54 beneficiaries who successfully completed the operations, regained their eyesight and returned to Chennaraopet today in good health. The 54 victims who had been suffering from vision loss for the past few years and were confined to their homes due to financial difficulties and could not get the operation done, are indescribable in the joy of the beneficiaries who got the light of their eyes today! It is because of Janata Trust that we got our sight back. He thanked Dr. Gogula Rana Pratap Reddy, Chairman of the Janata Trust, with tears in his eyes, saying that he would be indebted to him for the rest of his life.
