Y. Padmasree, the Principal Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, expressed his regret that there has not been enough progress in the lives of the Yanads even after so many years of independence. As per the orders of the High Court, a legal science conference was organized at the Amancharla Tribal Colony of Nellore Rural Mandal under the auspices of the Chairman of the Nellore District Legal Services Authority, District Chief Justice G. Srinivas, and the Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, Senior Civil Judge Y. J. Padmasree. He said that the Yanads have been backward in the society even after so many years of independence, and that the rights granted to them by the Constitution have been explained to them and that they will solve their problems without spending a single rupee through the world. Similarly, despite the ban on child marriages, child marriages are happening, and that they are being forced to marry girls with another boy or an old man who has turned old, which is a very heinous practice that violates the rights of children. He said that such child marriages were banned and declared a crime under the Child Marriage Prohibition Act of 2006. He further said that there is illegal trafficking of women, especially from rural areas, and they are being taken to brothels, and similarly, those who have been taken to beg and take drugs, so people should be vigilant. Later, some villagers told Judge Padmashri that many of them do not have Aadhaar cards, and the problem was resolved there by talking to the ITDA Assistant Project Officer. The next judge said that if you need anything, our PLV Penchala Narasaiah Ramanaiah Mangamma will be here, and if you inform us in the form of an application, we will talk to the higher authorities and solve the problems. He also said that all children should be educated. He also explained about bonded labor and said that children should not be put to work.
