A couple from Gadwal district, Vatsavulu Ramesh-Anuradha, donated school bags, boards, notebooks, shoes and other educational materials worth Rs. 50,000 to the students of the Mandal Praja Parishad School in Kummera village of Nagarkurnool mandal. Nagarkurnool MEO Kurumayya, who was the chief guest at the event, distributed educational materials to 80 poor students studying in the school. Speaking on the occasion, MEO Kurumayya said that it is commendable that donors come forward to help for the future of the students. He advised the students to take advantage of such opportunities and excel in education and reach high positions in life, as well as bring a good name to the society and the village. School Principal Venkataswamy, teachers Siva Prasad, Amarender Reddy, MD Latif, Satyanarayana and villagers participated.
