Panchayat Raj & Rural Development Minister Smt. Danasari Anasuya (Sitakka) laid the foundation stone of the Bharosa Center to be set up at Kolhapur Crossroads in Nagarkurnool district headquarters. Nagarkurnool MLA Dr. Kuchukulla Rajesh Reddy, elders and honorable MLC Sri Kuchukulla Damodar Reddy, Nagarkurnool District DCC President, Achampet MLA Dr. Vamsi Krishna, DIG Dr. L. S. Chauhan, SP Patil Sangram Singh participated in this program. Speaking on the occasion, the leaders said that the government is setting up Bharosa Centers with the aim of providing protection, legal aid and counseling services to women and children at one place. They said that in addition to providing immediate assistance to the victims, Bharosa Centers play a key role in providing them with the necessary medical, legal and psychological services in a coordinated manner. The leaders made it clear that the Congress government is giving top priority to the safety and welfare of women and that the government is committed to creating an environment where women and children can live courageously in the society. Market Committee Chairman Ramana Rao, Municipal Chairman Teegala Sunendra, Vice Chairman Badam Ramesh, Town President Jakka Raju, local councilors, public representatives, officials, members of women’s groups, Congress leaders, activists and a large number of women participated in the program.
