Allur, June 15: Police conducted a large-scale cordon and search operation in BC Colony under Allur police station limits on Monday. During this, about 150 houses were inspected and the details of the residents and vehicle documents were examined. During the inspections, 28 two-wheelers and one auto-rickshaw without proper documents were seized by the police and taken to the police station for further examination. The owners were advised to submit the documents related to the vehicles. Later, the local people were made aware about the prevention of cyber crimes, side effects of drugs, women’s safety, and use of emergency services. Officials advised the public to immediately inform the police about suspicious activities.
