Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Nagesh Patil Ashtikar and Dharashiv MP Omraje Nimbalkar have announced that they will join the Shiv Sena led by Eknath Shinde. They said that they have taken this decision due to non-receipt of development funds and derogatory comments made by the party leadership against them. It is reported that six MPs from Shiv Sena (UBT) have already split and formed a separate group. With this, new equations are being formed in Maharashtra politics. Shinde commented on this development as “Operation Tiger has been successful”, while Uddhav Thackeray sharply criticized the BJP.
