SPSR Nellore District June 23 (Punnami Representative) A training program was organized for farmers under the auspices of the Agricultural Technology Management Organization at Manubolu Rythu Seva Kendra on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, Agriculture Department AD Shiva Nayak said that due to excessive use of chemical fertilizers, soil fertility decreases and the land becomes shallow. He said that pest problems are also likely to increase. Farmers were advised to give priority to the use of organic fertilizers and urea should also be used only according to the crop requirement. Later, various suggestions were given to the farmers on crop management. AO Venkata Krishnaiah, VAA Sivakumar, leaders Pachipala Ramureddy, Rayapati Kiran and farmers participated in the program.
