Tallapudi, June 23 (Punnami Reporter): Giduturi Ravikumar, who was working as a school assistant (mathematics) at Gajjaram Zilla Parishad High School in Tallapudi mandal, died at a private hospital in Hyderabad on Tuesday while undergoing treatment for illness. On the morning of the 15th of this month, while going to school on a two-wheeler, he suddenly had a fit and fell off the vehicle. The locals immediately rushed him to a private hospital in Tallapudi, where he had another fit and was shifted to Rajahmundry Hospital for better treatment. Later, as his condition worsened, he was shifted to a private hospital in Hyderabad for treatment. Ravikumar, who went into a coma despite doctors performing two brain surgeries, breathed his last on Tuesday while undergoing treatment. APTF East Godavari District President Dunna Durga Rao, school teachers, staff and Andhra Pradesh Teachers Federation leaders expressed deep shock and condoled Ravikumar’s death. Speaking on the occasion, Dunna Durga Rao said that it was extremely unfortunate that Ravikumar passed away untimely with so much service left. He expressed his deepest condolences to his family members and prayed that God would grant them the courage to bear this tragedy.
