Udaygiri MLA Kakarla Suresh met Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Shri Nitin Gadkari at his official residence in New Delhi on Thursday with the aim of providing better transport facilities to the people of Udaygiri constituency and developing connectivity roads to villages and mandal centers connected to national highways. On this occasion, he brought to the attention of the Union Minister the difficulties faced by the people of many villages in the constituency in reaching national highways and appealed to take necessary steps for the development of connectivity roads. I explained that if connectivity roads are developed, the movement of people will be easier and the transportation of agricultural products, commercial activities, education and medical services of farmers will be faster. I informed that these roads will be crucial for the comprehensive development of Udaygiri constituency. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari responded positively to the appeal of the Kakars and assured that keeping in mind the needs of the people of Udayagiri, Suresh expressed his happiness over the assurance that necessary support would be provided for the development of better connectivity roads connecting to national highways in coordination with the central and state governments.
