Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh said that the peace situation in Manipur, which has been severely affected by ethnic clashes, is gradually improving. He said that people from the Kuki community have started coming to Imphal and travelling by air, which is a positive sign. After the ethnic clashes that began in 2023, there were serious differences between the Meitei and Kuki communities. However, peace talks are currently underway and the CM called on people to come forward with mutual cooperation. He suggested that the development of Manipur is possible only through unity and all communities should work together.
