An awareness seminar was organized on the occasion of International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking at Mahatma Jyotirao Phule BC Social Welfare Residential School in Golagamudi under the auspices of the Nellore District Legal Services Authority. District Legal Services Authority Secretary and Senior Civil Judge Smt. Y.J. Padmasree made the students aware of the ill effects of drugs, good touch-bad touch, prevention of child marriage, and Lok Adalat services. They were advised to contact the toll-free number 15100 for necessary help. Later, the students performed plays on prevention of narcotics and impressed. Principal Veedhi Ramana Prasad, teachers and staff participated in the program.
