Sri Kalahasti, June 29, (Punnami News): On the occasion of the full moon day, the Oonjala Seva of the Swami and the Goddess was performed with great pomp at the Sri Gnanaprasunamba Sametha Sri Kalahasti temple in Sri Kalahasti. In accordance with the temple traditions, the priests, who decorated the festive idols beautifully, performed special pujas and archanas and then performed the Oonjala Seva according to the scriptures. This service, which was held in a devotional atmosphere amidst the sound of auspicious instruments and the chanting of Vedic mantras, impressed the devotees. A large number of devotees from various parts of the state and all over the country came to witness this sacred ceremony and had darshan of the Swami and the Goddess and received their blessings.
