SPSR Nellore District June 20 (Punnami Representative) Manubolu, June 20: The bullock race organized on the occasion of the village deity Sri Ponnuru Ammathalli Jatara in Vadlapudi village of Manubolu mandal was thrilling. 9 pairs of bullocks participated in the competition to complete a distance of 250 meters in the shortest time by tying a stone weighing 1,700 kg. The first prize was won by Lenin Enterprises of Pottepalem, the second prize was won by Maddisetti Venkayya of Jonnavada, the third prize was won by another pair of Lenin Enterprises, the fourth prize was won by Vetluru Sudheer of Gudlavedu village, and the fifth prize was won by Panta Surender Reddy of Tatiparthi. Hundreds of people from all over the district came to watch these competitions.
