Airlines have been charging fuel surcharges and additional charges due to the increase in oil and ATF prices due to West Asian tensions. With oil prices currently falling, if these prices remain stable, the Union Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu said that the airlines will be asked to review the surcharges. He said that efforts will be made to reduce the burden of additional charges on passengers and the government is reviewing ATF prices domestically from time to time.
