Mr. Raghavendra Punnami, spokesperson, Nellore. – Udayagiri depot bus met with a serious road accident. – On the night of the 13th, an RTC bus left Pamur for Bangalore via Gandipalem and Udayagiri. – The bus that met with the accident has been identified as a bus with service number 5212 belonging to Udayagiri depot. – The incident took place at Chintamani near Bangalore at around 3:30 am. – The Udayagiri depot bus hit a lorry parked on the side of the road at high speed. – More than 20 passengers travelling in the bus were injured in this serious accident. – Ten of the injured are reported to be seriously injured and their condition is critical. – Police and locals reached the accident site and took up rescue operations. – The injured victims were urgently shifted to the nearest hospital for treatment. – The front of the bus was completely destroyed due to the severity of the accident. – Full details are yet to be known
