Waiting for student donors

Pergu Gautam, a student from Gudem village in Chinthalamanepalli mandal of Kumuram Bheem Asifabad district, is undergoing treatment in a hospital due to a serious illness and is waiting for help from donors. Gautam’s father Devaji belongs to a very poor family. Since Gautam has no mother, his father is working hard to send him to Asifabad Social Welfare Gurukul College for his second year of Intermediate. In such circumstances, Gautam was diagnosed with bone cancer and the family was in serious financial trouble. He is currently undergoing treatment at MNJ Cancer Hospital in Lakadikapool, Hyderabad. Family members said that Gautam had to have one of his legs amputated as per the doctors’ advice. The family has already been completely devastated financially due to the treatment expenses. Currently, there is no money even for food in the hospital. In this context, family members and villagers are appealing to donors, public representatives and service organizations to respond and provide financial assistance to Gautam’s family.
