Ambedkar’s picture should be printed on Indian currency: Republican Party of India

Republican Party of India (RPI) Southern States President ND Ajay Prasanna, Legal Cell State Chairman Y Ramesh Babu, and AP Print and Electronic Media Chairman Jyoti George have demanded that the picture of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar be printed on Indian currency notes. Ajay Prasanna, along with party representatives, spoke to the media on Tuesday as part of his Rayalaseema tour. He said that the original Reserve Bank system was created as per Ambedkar’s suggestion. He said that the United Nations recognized Ambedkar. It is gratifying to honor Ambedkar, who was recognized as an intellectual in the world by framing the Constitution, with the Bharat Ratna award in the past, but he said that if Ambedkar’s image is also printed on Indian currency notes, it will be given more respect.
