The Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) has provided financial assistance to families facing financial difficulties due to health problems. The cheques sanctioned to two beneficiaries from Rachapalli village of Chitvel mandal’s Mailapalli panchayat were handed over at their residences on Wednesday. On the recommendation of State Khadi Board Chairman KK Chowdhury, cheques worth Rs. 40,360 were presented to Raghava Nagaraju and Rs. 23,600 to Chokkaraju Subbalakshmamma. Speaking on the occasion, the leaders said that the government’s support when people are in danger is a testament to the CM’s welfare regime. The beneficiaries said that the assistance received through CMRF has brought great relief to their families amidst the burden of medical expenses. They thanked the Chief Minister and Khadi Board Chairman KK Chowdhury. TDP leaders, village committee representatives, activists and local youth participated in the programme in large numbers and appreciated the government’s welfare programmes.
