Evidence is key to scientific research.. Don’t present myths as science.

The opinion piece warned that some research being conducted at IITs risks presenting myths and spiritual concepts as scientific facts. It said that the aim of higher education institutions is to promote critical thinking, and giving academic recognition to unsubstantiated claims undermines the credibility of the education system. It explained that Indian educational institutions need to meet international standards to compete with world-class research. The author believes that there should be a clear line between science and faith.
