On 22/06/2026, a 14-day remand was imposed on the youths who were involved in drunken activities in Jyoti Nagar, Atmakur town. The Atmakur police have warned that anyone who indulges in anti-social activities under the influence of alcohol should be ignored. Keeping this in mind, everyone has been warned to behave properly. Details of the persons who were remanded. 1. Yammani Adarsh @ Obuladarsh, Father’s Name: Obaiah, Age: 22 years, Caste: SC (Mala), Residence: Jyoti Nagar, Atmakur town. 2. Kathi Sumanth, Father’s Name: Kishtaiah, Age: 21 years, Caste: SC (Madiga), Residence: ACSR Colony, Atmakur town. 3. Sheikh Suhan Babu, Father’s Name: Nagur Basha, Age: 21 years, Caste: Dudekula, Residence: Nallapareddipalli village, Atmakur mandal. 4. Bhavani Govinda, Father’s Name: Balakrishna, Age: 20 years, Caste: Reddy, Residence: L.R. Palli, Atmakur town. Four youths from Atmakur, Adarsh, Sumanth, Sheikh Suhan Babu and Govinda, who were arrested by the police on a complaint from locals for causing a brawl under the influence of alcohol in Atmakur, have been remanded for 14 days, Atmakur SI Jampani Kumar said. The SI said that they were arrested at a liquor shop on the complaint of the complainants that they had caused a brawl at a house in the bus stand area of the town yesterday afternoon, an investigation was conducted and a case was registered. They were produced in court today and remanded for 14 days, SI Jampani Kumar said, adding that strict action will be taken against those who have caused brawls and engaged in anti-social activities in Atmakur. He advised people not to ruin their future by getting involved in brawls.
