The Himachal Pradesh government has allocated ₹150 crore for the modernization of laboratories in medical colleges in the state. Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu made this announcement while laying the foundation stone of a new critical care block in Hamirpur. He said that students and patients will get better services with the availability of modern medical facilities. He said that the construction of a new campus of Hamirpur Medical College is also progressing rapidly. He said that the government’s goal is to further strengthen the health sector in the state.
