Train robbery attempt foiled in Andhra Pradesh

Police foiled a robbery attempt on the Chennai-Vijayawada Sarkar Express train in Bapatla district of Andhra Pradesh. It is reported that unidentified persons tried to stop the train by pulling the emergency chain and target the passengers. Alert railway staff and police immediately reached the spot and brought the situation under control. As the assailants fled, special teams launched a manhunt to catch them. One suspect has been arrested and is being interrogated. Although the passengers were panicked by the incident, no casualties were reported. The authorities have decided to further tighten railway security.
