The installation of the Jiva Dhwajastambha was held in a grand manner at the Umamaheswara Temple located on the Vasavi Mata Temple Street. After performing various pujas and yagas in accordance with the scriptures since Monday, the new flag pole was successfully installed on Thursday with the recitation of Shiva Nama by a large number of devotees. Nerella Jwala Rao, who has been managing the temple for many years, and in memory of his wife Anusuyamma, Nerella Jwala Subramaniam, and under the leadership of Chandra, Nerella Jwala Subbarao, Mahalakshmi, and Jwala Prasad Nagasunitha, the installation of the new flag pole was a feast for the eyes. Many couples participated in the yagasala organized on this occasion and expressed their devotion. On this occasion, after special pujas, Annadanam was organized for the devotees who came. Young leader Nerella Chandra thanked the devotees and temple committee members who helped in the successful conclusion of the special pujas held over the past four days.
