Excise officers call on students Atmakur (Representative of Harikiran and Punnami): On the occasion of World Anti-Drug Day, an awareness program was organized for students at Priyadarshini Junior College under the auspices of the Atmakur Prohibition & Excise Department. Speaking on the occasion, officials said that drug use destroys the future of the youth and advised them to stay away from drugs and adopt a healthy lifestyle. They explained that it is very important to develop good habits during the student stage, and if they are attracted to bad habits, their education, health and family life will be seriously affected. They said that the participation of the youth is necessary in drug control and that information should be provided to the authorities immediately on suspicious activities such as drug use, sale and transportation. Officials explained that legal action will be strict on the manufacture, supply and use of drugs and that the youth should be aware of the laws. They asked every student to focus on sports, education and creative activities and achieve high goals. He called on everyone to act responsibly for the construction of a drug-free society. Prohibition & Excise Circle Inspector M.V. Krishna Rao, Sub Inspector Y. Gautam, college students and excise staff participated in this program.
