Sri Kalahasti, June 18, (Punnami News): The Special Voters Amendment-2026 (SIR-2026) program is in full swing in Sri Kalahasti Legislative Assembly constituency as per the directions of the Election Commission of India. Booth level officials have been going door to door in the 294 polling stations in the constituency since June 15 to collect voter details. In order to prepare an error-free and transparent voter list, the names of deceased, migrated and dual registered voters are being removed, and eligible youth who will complete 18 years of age by July 1, 2026 are being registered as new voters. According to the details disclosed by the Voter Registration Officer, RDO, 1,27,297 enumeration forms have been issued so far for a total of 2,49,123 voters in the constituency, and the digitization of 401 forms has been completed. He said that in terms of mandals, 29,411 forms have been issued in Srikalahasti Rural, 27,332 in Srikalahasti Urban, 25,937 in Renigunta, 21,730 in Yerpedu, and 22,887 in Thottambedu mandal. He stated that the authorities are continuously working to prepare a quality voter list.
