Hanuman Jayanti week celebrations were held grandly at Sri Veera Abhaya Anjaneyaswamy Temple in Maruthi Nagar, Podalakur town, Nellore district. Special pujas were held grandly for Anjanisuthu at Sri Veera Abhaya Anjaneyaswamy Temple in Maruthi Nagar, Podalakur town, Nellore on Tuesday under the auspices of Kammajana Seva Sangam. As part of the week celebrations organized after Hanuman Jayanti, this program was organized by Kammajana Seva Sangam with devotion for the seventh week. Vedic scholars performed abhishekam and leaf puja on the Lord from early morning and distributed the Tirtha Prasadam to the devotees. A large number of devotees who had gathered at the temple had darshan of the Lord and performed special pujas. A large number of townspeople participated in the Anna Santarpana program organized in the afternoon and received Anna Prasadam. The temple premises became bustling with devotees. The organizers said that the village festival of the Lord will be held from 6 pm. He said that dances and cultural programs have been organized on this occasion. The organizers requested that people participate in large numbers in the village festival and seek the blessings of the Lord.
