The process of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list in Andhra Pradesh is progressing at a rapid pace. About 65% of the total 4,16,16,061 registered voters have been mapped and verified. With this, about 2.70 crore verifications have been completed. About 1.46 crore verifications are still pending. The Election Commission is yet to announce the exact number of SIR applications submitted.
