Khammam, June (Puvvada Nagendra Kumar Punnami District Reporter) The Telangana government has appointed special officers to review the implementation of the prestigious 99-day “Public Governance – Progress Plan” at the district level. To this end, the Planning (V) Department issued Memo No. 316/Plg.V/2026 on June 18, 2026. As per the orders of the Chief Minister, a senior IAS officer has been appointed as a special officer for each district to conduct a comprehensive review of the implementation of the 99-day action plan, the performance of various departments, recording of best practices, problems faced and next steps. In this order, the government has appointed Anudeep Doori Shetty as the special officer for Khammam district. The special officers will conduct district tours and inspect the implementation of the Public Governance – Progress Plan, hold review meetings with the officials and submit a comprehensive report to the government. The government hopes that this move will accelerate the implementation of government welfare and development programs and make administration more efficient in the districts.
