Two major new projects under the PPP model under the auspices of VMRDA were inaugurated. The ground-breaking ceremony for the Vizag Virtual Reality Center, 3-star hotel project, and the MIG housing project in Mithilapuri, which are being implemented under the PPP model under the auspices of VMRDA on Endada Law College Road, VMRDA, under the auspices of Vikasith Bharat, and the development of the Visakhapatnam Economic Region to achieve the goal of Swarna Andhra, was held with great pomp. Bhimili MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao and VMRDA Chairman Pranav Gopal participated in the program held on Wednesday morning, performed puja programs and unveiled the stone plaque. Speaking on the occasion, MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that the coalition government will move forward on the path of development of Visakhapatnam under the leadership of the state Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. He said that the Bhogapuram International Airport will be available soon, and the Madhuravada area between Visakhapatnam and Bhogapuram Airport has been developed on the lines of Hyderabad Gachibowli, Madhapur and Kondapur. He said that Andhra Pradesh has now become a haven for investments. He suggested that the projects currently being undertaken under the auspices of VMRDA in this area, which is becoming a hub for the IT industry, should be completed within the stipulated time. VMRDA Chairman M V Pranav Gopal said that many IT industries are coming up in Visakhapatnam, which is developing rapidly, and in the context of becoming an AI hub, he was happy that the construction of a virtual reality center under the PPP model under the auspices of VMRDA was being done. He said that the arrival of this project will further contribute to tourism. Similarly, it is everyone’s wish to have their own house in Visakhapatnam, and as per their wish, the MIG Housing Project is being constructed, and for this, the opinion poll of the city residents has been conducted. He said that quality housing will be provided to the city residents. He said that these two projects will be completed in three years, and through these, VMRDA will generate income.
