Sri Kalahasti, June 18, (Punnami News): Two children were seriously injured when a huge tree fell on them in Dargamitta, Ward 32 of Sri Kalahasti town on Wednesday due to strong winds. The accident occurred when the Harish family from Uttar Pradesh resided locally and their children Rishi (5) and Priya (8) were playing near their house. The locals, who noticed the tree falling on the children, immediately rushed them to the nearest hospital and provided them with basic treatment. Later, as their condition was critical, they were shifted to Tirupati for better treatment. It is reported that the children are currently receiving treatment. Locals said that the family, who migrated for a living, is in a situation where they cannot afford the medical expenses. They are requesting donors to show their humanity by providing the necessary assistance for the treatment of the children.
