Koala Vishali seeks MLA’s support for Swachh Swarnamukhi

Sri Kalahasti, June 20, (Punnami News): Tejobharath founder president and Devasthanam Board member Kola Vishali has requested local MLA Bojjala Venkata Sudheer Reddy to provide support and guidance to the ‘Swachha Swarnamukhi’ public movement to be undertaken with the aim of preserving and reviving the sacred Swarnamukhi river in Sri Kalahasti. She submitted a petition to the MLA at a program organized to mark the completion of two years of the coalition government’s rule. Speaking on the occasion, Kola Vishali said that the Swarnamukhi river has been crucial for the spiritual glory of the Sri Kalahasti temple as well as for the development of the world-famous Kalamkari art. She expressed her concern that this river, which has historical and cultural importance, is currently facing problems of pollution and waste. She said that this movement is being launched with the inspiration of successful programs like ‘Namami Gange’ and ‘Sabarmati Riverfront’ undertaken by the Central Government. As part of this, it was revealed that river cleanliness, pollution control, establishment of waste management centers, extensive plant play in coastal areas, and awareness programs will be undertaken with students, devotees, and volunteers. Stating that it is everyone’s responsibility to provide the Swarnamukhi River with cleanliness and greenery for the coming generations, she hoped that this program would be made an ideal environmental movement in the state with the cooperation of the MLA. Tirupati TRO Chairman Dollar Diwakar Reddy, BJP Coordinator Kola Anand Kumar, and coalition leaders participated in the program.
