Lakshmi donated Rs. 1 lakh to the Janahita Vatsalya Ashram in Vananthopu Center, Nellore for the education of orphaned children. This assistance was provided for uniforms, books and fees. AP Hansa District President Chejarla Sudhakar Rao praised the donation to the ashram every year instead of celebrating birthdays and wedding anniversaries with pomp.
