District Legal Services Authority Secretary Justice Padmasree suggested that long-standing unresolved cases should be resolved in the Samadhan Samaroh to be held on July 11. As per the orders of the High Court, a legal science conference was organized on Monday at Amancharla, Warikandrika ST Colony, Gotur, Nellore Rural Mandal, under the auspices of District Chief Justice G Srinivas, Chairman of the Nellore District Legal Services Authority and Senior Civil Judge Y.J. Padmasree, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority. Speaking at the conference, Y.J. Padmasree said that despite the ban on child marriages, child marriages are happening and that girls are being forced to marry another boy or an old man. Child marriages were banned in 2006 and declared a crime. He further explained that the lower castes and the Yanads have been backward in society for so many years after independence, and explained to them the rights granted by the Constitution and said that any problems that cannot be resolved anywhere will be resolved through Lok Adalat without spending a single rupee. Similarly, he advised people to be vigilant because there is illegal trafficking of women, especially from rural areas, and they are being used to transport them to brothels, begging, and drugs. Later, when some Yanads said that they did not have Aadhaar cards, he said that he would talk to the ITDA Assistant Project Officer and give them to them there. He said that PLV Penchala Narasaiah Ramanaiah Mangamma would be here for anything needed, and if you inform us in the form of an application, he would talk to the higher authorities and solve your problems. Similarly, Judge Padmashri said that all the children should be educated. He said that everyone should know and utilize the coordination program being conducted across the country for the amicable resolution of disputes through mediation for the next Samadhan Samathoh 2026 pending in the Supreme Court. Rural MPDO Shailakumar, ITDA Assistant Project Officer Venkata Ramanaiah and others participated in this program.
