New efforts to revive India-China media relations

As part of the normalization of relations between India and China, officials of the Indian Embassy in Beijing met with representatives of the Chinese state news agency Xinhua. They discussed issues of media cooperation, mutual understanding and visas for journalists. The meeting assumed significance in the context of the recent improvement in bilateral relations between the two countries.
