Khammam, June (Puvvada Nagendra Kumar Punnami District Reporter) The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) survey undertaken by the Central Election Commission will begin from today. In this context, the officials have completed arrangements to visit every house in Khammam district and collect the details of the voters. There are about 12.45 lakh voters in the district, and 1,460 polling stations have been set up to verify their details. Similarly, 1,000 polling booths are available in Bhadradri Kothagudem district for 9.66 lakh voters. For the conduct of this survey, 2,002 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will go door to door to collect the details of the voters. The Election Commission has undertaken this special program with the objectives of cleaning the voter list, providing the right to vote to everyone who is eligible, and correcting mistakes. The officials have asked the people to keep the necessary documents and details ready during the survey and cooperate with the BLOs.
