SPSR Nellore District June 23 (Punnami Representative) A 10-acre haystack belonging to farmer Subrahmanyam was completely gutted in a fire that broke out in Akkampet village of Manubolu mandal on Tuesday. As the fire broke out suddenly, the locals immediately informed the fire brigade. The staff who reached the spot with two fire engines worked hard to bring the fire under control. About 600 grass mops were burnt in the accident, and property worth about Rs. 60 thousand was lost, the victims said. The authorities have launched an investigation into the causes of the fire.
