YSRCP Nellore district president and former minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy has strongly accused the coalition government of completely corrupting democratic institutions in the state and implementing the ‘Red Book’ constitution. Speaking to the media at the Nellore YSRCP office… Opposition leader YS Jagan said that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had no knowledge of the Vijayawada Sai Krishna lockup death atrocity until he visited the victim’s family. YS. Admitting that Chandrababu Naidu, who is afraid of Jagan’s visit, is calling the victims and playing dramas and asking them about killing their son, the mother held her legs and demanded an apology from Chandrababu Naidu. He said that Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy and Jogi Ramesh, including those in the state, are doing partisan politics by filing 27 illegal cases against him. Kakani warned that Chandrababu Naidu has become anti-farmer by reducing the beneficiaries of the Annadata Sukhibhav scheme and drowning the tenant farmers, and that people will definitely be made to understand this demonic rule in the coming days. He advised that governments can change no matter which party comes to power, but the institutions will have to perform their duties without bias. If YS Jagan works with the welfare of farmers as the sole aim, Chandrababu Naidu has made cuts to farmers to suit his nature and has branded himself as ‘anti-farmer’. While 54 lakh farmers received investment assistance during Jagan’s tenure, the coalition government has reduced that number to only 46,85,939 people. Kakani alleged that 10 percent of the eligible people are still roaming around the offices without receiving assistance. Former Govardhan Reddy expressed his anger that gravel, sand, liquor mafias, betting and poker clubs are running rampant in the state, but it is not as if the coalition government has been bitten by an ant. He demanded that the government stop anarchy and factionalism and implement development and welfare programs for the people. He warned the government that whenever the elections come, the people of AP will surely deal an irreparable blow to Chandrababu and the green media that praises him.
