Indian star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra settled for fourth place in the Doha Diamond League. Neeraj, who returned to competition, threw the javelin 85.69 metres in his third attempt. Two of the five attempts were fouled. Sri Lanka’s Rumesh Pathiraj emerged victorious with a throw of 88.68 metres. Grenada’s Anderson Peters finished second and America’s Curtis Thompson third. Neeraj is aiming to do better in the upcoming international competitions.
