Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has announced that Amaravati will be developed into a world-class city in line with future needs. He outlined this vision at the World Cities Summit held in Singapore. The government aims to develop Amaravati as a knowledge-based city, a quantum computing hub and a capital with state-of-the-art digital infrastructure. He said that this will be one of the world’s largest city-building projects developed with the participation of farmers.
