District Chief Justice Shri G. Srinivas inspected the NDPS & Contraband Strong Room works under construction in the old district police office premises on Monday. He reviewed the construction progress, security arrangements and facilities along with the officials. He suggested that the construction of the strong room should be completed in accordance with the quality standards and within the stipulated time. He also instructed the officials to take steps to link the CCTV surveillance system to be set up at the strong room with the NDPS court and take steps for continuous monitoring. He said that this facility will be very useful for the security of narcotics and contraband goods. The officials explained the details of the construction works to the judge.
