*Sanitation program at Garlaoddu Primary School* Sarpanch Bhukya Narsi Lalu Nayak June 15 Khammam District Punnami Representative Gugulot Bhausingh Nayak Enkur: In Garlaoddu, Gram Panchayat, in view of village development and health of students, a cleanliness program was organized in the premises of the local primary school under the auspices of Garlaoddu Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Bhukya Narsi Lalu Nayak. On Monday, the Gram Panchayat staff cleaned the garbage and bushes accumulated in the school premises. The dust and garbage accumulated in front of the classrooms and at the gate were removed and the surroundings were cleaned. Panchayat Sarpanch Bhukya Narsi Lalu Nayak said that this program was undertaken with the aim of ensuring that children study in a clean environment. The aim is to provide a healthy environment to students and parents should also make children aware of cleanliness. Sarpanch and Panchayat Secretary officials said that sanitation programs will be organized in schools every week as part of “Swachh Bharat – Swachh Telangana”. They called for giving a good message to future generations that only by maintaining cleanliness we can stay healthy. Panchayat staff and school teachers participated in this program.
